Somewhere In Time is the sixth studio album by the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on September 29, 1986. This album came a year after the release of their first live album, Live After Death. The main theme of the artwork is based on the film Blade Runner starring Harrison Ford, and the songs deal with humanity's relationship with time. The album is known for being the band's first to use synthesizers. "Wasted Years" and "Stranger in a Strange Land" were released as singles from the album, but the song most frequently performed by the band during their tours was "Heaven Can Wait," written by Steve Harris. In 1995 it was re-released along with a bonus CD.
